About the job
As a System Engineer, you will install and modify releases to ensure the system meets the organisation’s requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform deployments, installations and upgrades for various mission-critical environments
- You will have Datacenter Experience (monitoring and administration), windows security
- Hands on experience with servers (Lenovo, HP etc.)
- maintain internal servers and environments in our on-premises network (Windows Servers/Hyper-V) and in Microsoft Azure Cloud
- work together with the development team to achieve the delivery goals at very high-quality standards;
- Get the chance to develop yourself as well as continuously search and implement improvements, e.g. in the areas of maintenance, performance management and automation.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of experience in system administration experience
- have experience with Microsoft Windows server 2012 R2+, IIS, MSSQL (SQL experience is a must)
- have experience with Azure services, SCOM, AD, Computer networks, file systems and MS365
- have an analytic mindset and good problem-solving skills
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills
